new year, new studio

Like just about everyone else on the planet, I get very easily overwhelmed with *stuff*. And then I just like to pretend that the situation that’s making me overwhelmed is just going to solve itself, so I put off doing anything about it over and over and over again. For those of you that have been in my studio anytime in the past year, you know that I have a lot of *stuff* everywhere. Hats, headbands, blankets, wraps, buckets, baskets – anything that has to do with newborn photography, I have it and it was spilling out of my studio. I had great plans for my little itty bitty space, but just needed a little time and energy to carry it out.

Well, guess what! I finally did something about it! It’s still not 100% done, but seeing as how the last little bit is going to take putting some paint on the walls, it’s just going to have to wait a bit longer. At least now everything has a space, there is plenty of room for little babes and their mommies and daddies, and my dining room is prop free!

Check it out!

Much better, huh? Now if I could just get prints in all of the frames I have hanging on the walls, we’d be in good shape…

Steph, your studio space has such a warm and cozy feel with loads of sunshine. I just love it! Way to start 2014 with some major organization. The props look heavenly all hung neatly. Color coded at it’s finest, right there. I wouldn’t expect anything less from you my dear friend. XOXO

I know a cute baby you could put in one of those frames! Looks great! I am literally counting down the days until we see you again
